We see a great love story that was meant to be and learn of noble characters who make decisions for the greater good. The humor also pours out easily as does the drama, the film alternates well between these two. Beside having a meaningful love story, it ended well and gave a lot of closure to the audience. This was Karan Johar's film debut and took the film world by storm with this well made film. The plot, cast and songs are exceptional. A first for Indian Cinema that is used to applying the same techniques and formula. The film was unique in not having violence or a villain and guess what it worked beautifully and wasn't needed. For the first time we see love triangles to drive the story. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is a beautifully directed and well made film. Due to complications during pregnancy, Tina passes away. Tina and Rahul get married and soon Tina becomes pregnant, giving birth to a daughter which they call Anjali. Anjali realizes that she has fallen in love with Rahul but she's too late because Rahul has already fallen for Tina Malhotra. Rahul Khanna and Anjali Sharma were best friends at college.
